We are convinced that it is important to re-think the way we live (in the city). The philosophy is to agree to reduce the size of its individual home by compensating with shared spaces which allows not only to afford the freedom to have more space or not, to save on the fact that these spaces that we use less often have a cost borne by several co-owners, but also, and this is certainly the most important, to create a link, to stimulate interaction, to create a place that encourages exchanges, mutual aid and sharing .
This house of the 'Community' has been thought of as a 'kangaroo' habitat and is presented on three levels. The ground floor level consists of a studio pocket that is allocated to the elderly person who takes full advantage of the garden on the ground floor. The ground floor also has a common entrance hall, a shared laundry room, a workshop for the garden, a bicycle garage and a garbage room. The two upper floors form a three-bedroom duplex for the young couple and their child.
