Near the Verboekhoven intersection and the Lambermont boulevard, which are structuring axes in the district, the project plot is located in the northern part of Schaerbeek. The new metro axis will one day allow a greater flow to be drained towards the station and the centre of Brussels and will promote a gentle densification of this residential area. The project in question here makes it possible to anticipate this urban change and anticipate this new polarity. Bourgeois facades with cast iron railings and elaborate ornamentation are replaced by simpler housing, witnesses to the industrial character of 19th century Schaerbeek, our project also assumes to be the witness of its time.
